How it works

Enter the pages you want to keep (e.g. `1,3-5,7`) and get a single PDF containing only those pages, in ascending order. All other pages are dropped.

Common use cases

  • Sending only the relevant chapter of a long report to a colleague instead of the whole 200-page file.
  • Isolating your ID card from a passport scan that also contains other paperwork.
  • Making a bookmark-friendly excerpt of a book chapter for a reading list.

Privacy

This tool runs entirely in your browser. Your PDF is never uploaded to our servers — the file stays on your device from start to finish.

Combined workflows

Most people pair Extract pages with Merge PDF, Compress PDF and Protect PDF.

FAQ

How is this different from Delete pages?

Extract keeps a small set of chosen pages. Delete removes a small set and keeps everything else. Pick whichever matches the shorter description of what you want to end up with.

Are extracted pages exact copies?

Yes — pages are copied using pdf-lib's `copyPages`, which preserves their original content, fonts, and vector graphics byte-for-byte.
