How it works
Every page of the PDF is rendered to an image (JPG or PNG), at a scale you choose (0.5× to 2×). If the PDF has multiple pages, all images are packaged in a ZIP.
Common use cases
- Getting a PNG of a single-page invoice to paste into a slide or a chat.
- Extracting all the pages of a lecture PDF as PNG to annotate them in a drawing app.
- Converting a diagram-heavy report to images for embedding in a website that doesn't accept PDFs.
Privacy
This tool runs entirely in your browser. Your PDF is never uploaded to our servers — the file stays on your device from start to finish.
FAQ
JPG or PNG — which should I pick?
JPG is smaller and fine for photos or scanned text. PNG preserves fine lines and transparent regions cleanly — better for diagrams, screenshots, or vector-heavy pages.
What does the quality scale do?
It multiplies the render resolution. 1× is roughly what the PDF viewer shows on screen; 2× doubles both dimensions, quadrupling file size but giving room to zoom without pixelation.
